I come from Bromont, a small village known as the capital of mountain biking and skiing. My parents were always active and instilled a love of physical fitness in me from a young age. I devoted myself to several sports such as gymnastics, figure skating and, of course, biking and skiing. Leah Wynne Fitness Model, Female Bodybuilder
Leah’s start as a FEMALE BODYBUILDER in the world of FITNESS WOMEN:
Leah began as a Female Bodybuilder to compliment her martial arts. She was actually the only Fitness Woman at her club which served to motivate and push her that much more. Leah noticed her impressive gains and this served to provide further motivation. Next she began to read more and more, and eventually got to the point where weight lifting and becoming a Fitness Woman and Female Body Builder became her main focus.
Leah’s road to FEMALE BODYBUILDING and becoming a FEMALE MUSCLE star:
Although Leah had always been very shy she was inspired by watching other Muscle Women and Female Body Builders, Needless to say, she found that first show to be very scary but also a ton of fun. “The rush from being on stage was so much stronger than the fear...I was hooked!” even though Leah’s first venture into the world of Female Muscle caused an initial case of stage fright, she was too nervous to do anything more than a small smile!” From Female Bodybuilding, she went on to the Fitness Model search. From there, she went to Figure and Female Body Building competition. Musclemania Canada '03 will be her first female bodybuilding show and she's very excited about it. She finds the Fitness Model search to be the most "fun" or “laid back” category because there is no routine to worry about. In the beginning Leah had no idea what to expect but she soon found competing with other Fitness Women is everything she would want it to be and more. “Competing gives me a goal, something to work towards, keeps me on track with my diet and training” In the end though, the moment she is most proud of is when she placed first in the WNSO NY State Natural Female Bodybuilding championships. Leah commented about her battle with the top Muscle Women “The competition was tough and placing first told me I have what it takes.”
Fitness Tips for aspiring BODYBUILDING WOMEN and FITNESS MODELS:
Get as much experience as you can. Read a lot & ask other Bodybuilding Women for Fitness Tips. The more you do it, the easier it gets. If you don't know how to train and/or diet, don't waste time. Get a Personal Trainer, even if only for a couple of sessions. Ask them for Fitness Tips and also educate yourself. Find your niche among Bodybuilding Women or Fitness Women. Use your talent and play it up ...either in your posing or your routine or your stage presence.
Also “be prepared to see half Nude Female Bodybuilders and men running about, in and out of either dressing room w/o a care in the world!” Although this surprised Leah at first she admits “I'm used to it now though” :)
